Barratt Developments hires 3 Monkeys for reappraisal campaign

Barratt Developments, one of the UK’s leading developers, has handed 3 Monkeys Communications a new brief as it tries to update perceptions of its Barratt Homes brand.

Following a four-way pitch, 3 Monkeys will work alongside Publicis, Carat, Zone and Barratt’s in-house team help create a brand reappraisal campaign.

Stating that "perception seriously lags behind reality" when it comes to Barratt Homes, 3 Monkeys director for consumer and brand Anna Speight said the campaign "needs to deliver not only rational reasons to believe in Barratt Homes’ great portfolio, but emotional reasons to engage".

"Barratt Homes does so much to help people through the bewildering house-buying process; it is a home maker as much as house builder," she added.
