MSL Group's Renee Wilson named PR Lions jury president

Renee Wilson, president of MSL Group North America, has been named jury president of the PR Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Wilson is a member of MSL Group's management board and is currently responsible for the regions direction and operations. She will soon move to the role of global chief client officer at the firm.

She is also a mentor for New York Women in Communications, sits on the advisory board for the Young Women’s Leadership Schools of New York City and is a board member of the Council of PR Firms.

She said: "Never before in the history of the public relations industry, has there been more of an opportunity for the PR function to demonstrate leadership, and the many multi-faceted contributions it can make to the broad world of communications and engagement."

The festival will be held 15-21 June 2014 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes and the PR Lions award ceremony will be on 16 June.
