Manchester City FC launches first dedicated app for away fans

Manchester City has launched its first smartphone app designed for away fans ahead of tonight's home match against Barcelona.

The app, called CityHome, will provide Barcelona fans with a range of information and recommendations on what to do and see while in Manchester.

CityHome, which is available on both IOS and Android, can be viewed in English, Spanish or Catalan and also includes travel advice for fans journeying to the stadium by foot, tram or rail for tonight’s UEFA Champions League match at the Etihad stadium.

After the Barcelona match, the app’s name and language will change to reflect other home opponents and their visiting fans.
