BOSTON: LaunchSquad promoted Mike Farber, founder and GM of its Boston office, to partner last month.

The firm's other partners include Jason Throckmorton, Jesse Odell, Brett Weiner, and Jason Mandell. Farber launched the firm's Boston office – its third location -- in 2010; he oversees 13 staffers there.

“We made him a partner as an acknowledgement of his leadership and success since he started with us,” Mandell said. “As partner, [Farber] will become more involved in the broad discussions, decisions, and plans for the company as a whole.”

Previously, Farber served as SVP at Schwartz Communications, helping to grow the firm's San Francisco office. He was also director of corporate communications at Revenio, a digital communications software company.

Ten positions are open at LaunchSquad, with the firm “aggressively” hiring staffers at various levels in design, writing, content strategy, and video production, according to Mandell. In particular, the firm is looking to grow its content and creative services team, which incorporates one-fifth of LaunchSquad's employees and produces more than 15% of its revenue.

LaunchSquad has seen more than 20% year-over-year revenue growth for the past five years to reach $11.4 million, Mandell said, adding that its outlook for this year includes hitting $14 million in revenue.

The agency reported 26% year-over-year revenue growth in 2012 to $9.4 million, and 31% growth the year prior to $7.6 million.

“We are focusing on expanding our services this year and opening another location in the US imminently,” said Mandell, who did not disclose the location.
