Mercury hires Fabrizio, Ward to lead polling

WASHINGTON: Mercury has hired Tony Fabrizio and Bob Ward to direct its polling capabilities from its Florida and Washington, DC, offices.

WASHINGTON: Mercury has hired Tony Fabrizio and Bob Ward to direct its polling capabilities from its Florida and Washington, DC, offices.

Fabrizio and Ward, the founding partners of research consultancy Fabrizio Ward, have led polling for Fortune 500 companies, presidential campaigns, trade groups, international political campaigns, and NGOs. They have specialized in opinion research, political strategy, corporate strategy, and issue and crisis management.

Fabrizio served as chief pollster and strategist for former Sen. Bob Dole's (R-KS) 1996 presidential campaign.

Ward was director of opinion research for Dole's 1996 campaign. He has also worked as a pollster for former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and strategic information director at the Republican National Committee. Previously, he led the Roper Public Affairs issues management research group in the Washington, DC, office of GfK. Ward has also worked for polling firm Public Opinion Strategies.
