SAN FRANCISCO: Allison+Partners said Tuesday that it has acquired Century PR as part of its Asian expansion.

The firm is planning to open additional offices in China and Southeast Asia through 2015.

Jerry Zhu, Richard Zhang, and Jackie Zhang established Century PR in 2010 with an emphasis on b-to-b and corporate communications. It has worked with clients including Honeywell, Reed, Happy Life, and CITIC Group.

The two firms partnered last year on client work and business development, winning accounts such as Emerson Climate Technologies and STULZ, they said in a statement.

Century's clients and employees have been integrated into Allison's business, managed by David Wolf, MD of the global China practice.

Zhu is serving as MD for Allison in Beijing. Previously, he held senior positions at firms including PPR, FleishmanHillard, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, and Manning Selvage & Lee.
