SAN FRANCISCO: Bite Communications has hired Andrea Cunningham as president of Bite North America.
In the newly created position, she will lead the agency's growth strategy and client-service offerings. This will include leading the management team in building an integrated communications and marketing service designed to help clients advance corporate reputation, become category leaders, increase shareholder value, and drive sales.
She will also focus on insight and analytics, content development, and diversified distribution channels.
Prior to Bite, Cunningham was CMO at Rearden Commerce. Previously, she founded and was CEO of CXO Communications, a Palo Alto, CA-based strategy and communications firm. She also founded and was chief executive of Cunningham Communications, which was acquired in 2000 by Citigate.
She has also worked on behalf of a number of Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco, HP, IBM, and Apple, where she collaborated with Steve Jobs to launch the original Macintosh. She also worked with Jobs at Next Computer and Pixar.
