SAN FRANCISCO: Cohn & Wolfe has named Anna Cahill Leonard global technology practice leader and president of the agency's San Francisco office.

AxiCom, Cohn & Wolfe's tech-sector network, named Leonard its US president just four months ago.

Leonard will replace Annie Longsworth, who left Cohn & Wolfe last month to become CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S, North America.

She said via email that "the time is right to leverage the deep expertise here to rapidly drive global growth."

Leonard will lead strategic development of the agency's global tech practice, and also manage operations, client relations, and employee development in San Francisco. She will report to Donna Imperato, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe.

Prior to AxiCom, Leonard was COO and EVP of Blanc & Otus, where she led the firm's Bay Area operations. She also worked at Porter Novelli for ten years, as MD and EVP.
