Wilson exits post at Pentagon

WASHINGTON: Douglas Wilson, assistant secretary of defense for public affairs, has stepped down from his position.

WASHINGTON: Douglas Wilson, assistant secretary of defense for public affairs, has stepped down from his position.

Wilson was nominated to his post by President Barack Obama in December 2009 and confirmed two months later.

Previously, he was EVP at the Howard Gilman Foundation, where he oversaw the organization's domestic and international policy programs.
