Air Force hires TK World Wide to promote air show

WASHINGTON: The Air Force District of Washington has hired TK World Wide Group to promote the Andrews Air Force Base Air Show, which will take place next month.

WASHINGTON: The Air Force District of Washington has hired TK World Wide Group to promote the Andrews Air Force Base Air Show, which will take place next month.

The firm was the incumbent on the project. The contact is worth more than $112,000, according to an award notice.  

The firm will work to raise public awareness about the air show through PR, advertising, and promotions about the time, date, scope, nature, and details of the event. It will also facilitate media interviews, in advance and on-site, in the days before the air show, according to the RFP.

Communications efforts will target the general public in the Washington area and East Coast states, as well as military audiences such as active and retired personnel.

Representatives from TK World Wide and the Air Force did not return request for comment.
