Atlantic City nonprofit fills comms, marketing roles

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ: The Atlantic City Alliance, a nonprofit established last fall, has hired Jeff Guaracino as chief strategy and communications officer and Christine Spencer as chief marketing officer.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ: The Atlantic City Alliance, a nonprofit established last fall, has hired Jeff Guaracino as chief strategy and communications officer and Christine Spencer as chief marketing officer.

The group is developing a media campaign to develop a new brand for the city, as well as to increase visitation among leisure travelers and support its revitalization program, it said in a statement.

Guaracino will oversee the development of the organization's strategic plan and communications programs. He will also liaise between the group and partners, businesses, and elected officials. Guaracino previously served as VP of communications at the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation.

Spencer previously worked as a brand manager at Philadelphia Newspapers LLC and VP of marketing and communications at the National Constitution Center.

The organization also hired Judi Ludovico as chief entertainment officer.
