Hispanic PR Association appoints national board

MIAMI: The Hispanic Public Relations Association has named its first national board of directors with Oralia Michel, president of Omagen, as its president.

MIAMI: The Hispanic Public Relations Association has named its first national board of directors with Oralia Michel, president of Omagen, as its president.

The organization appointed David Henry, president of TeleNoticias and NovoMedia, its VP and president-elect, and named Stephen Chavez, president of Chavez Marketing and Communications, VP for national chapters. Lourdes Rodriguez, an account supervisor at VPE Public Relations, was named VP for programs.

The group also appointed communications consultant Delia Lopez its secretary and named Mario Flores, partner and managing director at Sportivo, its treasurer. John Echeveste, partner at VPE Public Relations, and Melissa Smith, EVP at RLPR, were named at-large members of the board.
