Publicis names Fredette to replace Kelley as general counsel

PARIS: Russell Kelley has retired as general counsel of Publicis Groupe after 10 years in the position.

PARIS: Russell Kelley has retired as general counsel of Publicis Groupe after 10 years in the position.

He will be replaced by Eric Antoine Fredette, effective July 1. Fredette will report to Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner, SVP for compliance and legal at the holding company.

Fredette joined Publicis as a corporate counsel in 2005 and was promoted to associate general counsel two years later. He previously worked in law firms in Paris and Montreal.

Publicis' PR firms saw 6% organic growth, year-over-year, in the first quarter of 2012.
