Communispace enters Chinese market

BOSTON: Communispace has partnered with Jigsaw International, a Chinese consumer insights company, as it expands into China.

BOSTON: Communispace has partnered with Jigsaw International, a Chinese consumer insights company, as it expands into China.

Communispace will open its eighth office and third regional headquarters in Shanghai.

The company, which builds customer communities, launched its first Chinese community in September 2011. It has worked with clients in the entertainment, energy, media, and financial industries there.

George Kao, director of China operations, and Evelyn Tan, director of client services, are leading the company's operations in the country.

Communispace, which is part of Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services unit, manages more than 50 global communities for 19 clients. It offers services in languages such as French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.
