Zing debuts reputation management tool

NEW YORK: PR and marcomms agency Zing said this week that it has co-created an estimating tool to help companies model the potential costs of crisis communications counsel and services after the unauthorized release of sensitive information.

NEW YORK: PR and marcomms agency Zing said this week that it has co-created an estimating tool to help companies model the potential costs of crisis communications counsel and services after the unauthorized release of sensitive information.

Zing President and CEO Robert McEwen worked with attorneys, insurers, and underwriters to create the tool for NetDilligence, a cyber-risk assessment and data breach services company, according to a statement.

The tool includes 12 questions about the type of data lost, the number of records compromised, the cause of the breach, internal communications resources, and the degree of preparedness.
