NEW YORK: Fleishman-Hillard has hired Betsy Neville as senior partner and co-chair of its national corporate reputation practice.
When she starts work at the firm at the beginning of next month, Neville will be responsible for client service, management, and development of the corporate reputation practice. She will relocate from Chicago to New York and report to Robert Dowling, president of the Omnicom Group firm's East region. The firm hired Dowling away from Weber Shandwick in May.
Neville's appointment to the newly created role will expand the practice's leadership team. She will work closely with fellow co-chair Marjorie Benzkofer.
“[Fleishman] is a top three firm with an exciting vision and a true capacity to execute on global accounts,” Neville said. “They retain clients and employees for a long time, and that says something about the nature of the firm and its integrity.”
Neville will join Fleishman from FTI Consulting, where she was senior MD and corporate communications practice leader for the Americas. Previously, she served as GM of Ogilvy Public Relations' Chicago office. Neville also operated her own firm, the Neville Group, for 13 years.
Last month, Tyson Foods selected Fleishman as its global AOR for integrated corporate communications.
