NEW YORK: Keith Lindenburg has left his position as MD of national public relations at Deloitte after seven years with the company.

Lindenburg exited Deloitte in June, the company confirmed. He joined Deloitte in 2005 as director of national PR, reporting to then-CEO James Quigley.

While at the company, Lindenburg led external communications, including media relations, crisis communications, executive thought leadership, community relations, and CSR.

Representatives from Deloitte did not respond to multiple requests for additional comment.

Langdon Cook, director of national PR at Deloitte since 2005, is still with the company.

Prior to his tenure at Deloitte, Lindenburg was EVP and GM of Waggener Edstrom Worldwide's Eastern region for four years, where he worked on the firm's MasterCard International account. He was previously EVP and GM of Weber Shandwick's Eastern region and VP of corporate communications at IBM. He also served as GM for the Americas at Brodeur Worldwide for six years.

Deloitte works with Hill+Knowlton Strategies and MWW Group, which the company hired in 2005 to work on two major areas of its PR work. At the time, Deloitte chose H+K for its industries and functions work and MWW for the executive communications portion.

H+K and Deloitte Life Sciences and Health Care won a 2012 PRWeek Award for Healthcare Campaign of the Year.
