Weber promotes Smith to digital VP in Asia-Pacific

HONG KONG: Weber Shandwick has promoted Jye Smith to VP of digital in the Asia-Pacific region.

HONG KONG: Weber Shandwick has promoted Jye Smith to VP of digital in the Asia-Pacific region.

Smith will work with clients and staff across the agency's 18 Asia-Pacific offices and join its Centre for Digital Excellence in Hong Kong. He will also continue to work with Weber's team and clients in Australia, where he previously led digital strategy and social media engagement for the firm. Smith will relocate to Hong Kong from Sydney and report to Jon Wade, head of digital for Asia-Pacific.

The Centre for Digital Excellence is a digital strategy and creative hub for Weber's offices in the Asia-Pacific region. It includes the agency's Digital Content Studio, which develops video, infographics, web development, and other digital content for clients.
