Havas North American revenue up 0.5% in Q2

PARIS: Havas reported 2.1% organic revenue growth in the second quarter of 2012 to $555.9 million, compared with the prior year.

North American revenue grew 0.5% at the holding company, which owns and operates Euro RSCG Worldwide PR, in Q2 to about $183.6 million

For the first six months of 2012, Euro's revenue grew 2.7% organically to $1.04 billion, compared with the first half of 2011. North American revenue increased by 2% during that period to $354.8 million, compared with the prior year.

Income from operations was up 4.2% in the first half of the year to $124.5 million, while operating income grew 9.4% during that period, compared with the prior year, to $116.9 million.

Organic revenue growth does not take into account the impact of acquisitions and currency changes.

A representative from Euro RSCG Worldwide PR could not be immediately reached for comment.
