Burson, partners form leadership institute in China

BEIJING: Six marketing and communications firms have formed a leadership institute for communications professionals in China.

BEIJING: Six marketing and communications firms have formed a leadership institute for communications professionals in China.

The Burson-Marsteller Leadership Institute will provide marcomms training for communications leaders and practitioners in the country. The partnering agencies include Burson, Burson's polling and research firm Penn Schoen Berland, corporate communications advisory firm Wolf Group Asia, marketing and communications company Y&R, branding shop Landor Associates, and creative communications and leadership training firm Acewood.

The institute will focus on seven core specialty areas: branding, creativity, and perception; building bridges; digital and social media; engaging the government; executive offerings; public relations skills; principles and practices; and research.
