MSL taps Curran to replace Wilson as New York MD

NEW YORK: MSLGroup has named Joel Curran MD of its New York office, succeeding Renee Wilson, who took on the role of North America president on Monday.

NEW YORK: MSLGroup has named Joel Curran MD of its New York office, succeeding Renee Wilson, who took on the role of North America president on Monday.

He previously served as MD of the firm's Midwest operations.

Curran, who joined the agency in May 2008, is responsible for MSL New York's nearly 200 staffers, as well as its client relationships and office operations. New York is MSL's largest office.

The agency is searching for a replacement for Curran in Chicago.

Prior to his time at MSL, Curran was MD of CKPR in Chicago for nearly nine years. Previously, he served as VP and senior counselor at Price/McNabb for three years. Curran also worked at The Walt Disney Company as director from August 1986 to July 1996.
