CHICAGO: Fleishman-Hillard has named Marjorie Benzkofer global lead of its reputation management practice, a new position at the firm.
Benzkofer will work to integrate the firm's services around executive visibility, internal change management, financial communications, crisis and issues management, CSR, and sustainability, according to a statement from the firm. She is reporting to Bob Winslow, EVP, senior partner, and managing director of Fleishman's technology group.
“There is a tremendous amount of work to be done around the intersection of brand and reputation, and we are seeing that reputation is becoming even more powerful and complex that it ever has been before,” Benzkofer said. “Reputation management is also much more multi-disciplined than it ever was before. It is not just a corporate communications responsibility; it has to cross multiple disciplines such as legal, sales, and human resources. To integrate all that and drive business results is really what's critical and at the heart of the work.”
Benzkofer has worked at Fleishman for the past 15 years, including seven leading the corporate practice in Chicago.
Nick Andrews, Rachel Cantanach, and Betsy Neville lead Fleishman's corporate reputation practices in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, respectively. Andrews, Cantanach, and Neville report to Benzkofer.
The firm hired Neville as senior partner and co-chair of its national corporate reputation practice last month. She reports to Robert Dowling, president of the agency's East region.
