Matter unveils visual content offering

NEWBURYPORT, MA: Matter Communications has launched an in-house creative services group dedicated to producing visual content for brands.

The offering, called Studio-C, will develop videos, social media content, photography, infographics, and graphic design for clients. Matter VP Elise Ouellette will lead the group, which will include video producers and graphic designers, from the agency's headquarters in Newburyport, MA.

Prior to starting Studio-C, Matter hired external designers and video producers to create visual elements for PR and marketing programs, said CEO Scott Signore. An in-house group will allow for greater efficiency with client work, he added.

“This is a holistic approach to adding visual elements to help clients tell their story,” explained Signore. “We're addressing a shift in the business where social platforms demand visual content.”

Studio-C will help existing Matter clients integrate visual components with ongoing programs. It will also be available to new clients who want to work exclusively on visual content. Signore said he expects more companies to add visual elements to their campaigns going forward.

Last month, Next Fifteen agency M Booth unveiled “Framed,” a social media approach aimed at helping clients create visual content that tells brand stories and engages audiences in the digital space. 

Matter launched Impact Matters, a social media measurement service for consumer and b-to-b clients, in July.
