NORTHFIELD, IL: Kraft Foods has restructured its communications leadership after splitting into two businesses on October 1.

The split, which led to the creation of US grocery company Kraft Foods Group and global snack business Mondelez International, marked the departure of Perry Yeatman, SVP of corporate and government affairs at Kraft. Yeatman, who was also president of the Kraft Foods Foundation, worked at the company for seven years. She is now running her own consultancy.

Following Yeatman's departure, Nancy Daigler, SVP of corporate affairs and global business unit structures, was named SVP of corporate and government affairs for Kraft Foods Group.

It is understood that Daigler is reporting to Kim Rucker, EVP of corporate and legal affairs, who joined Kraft from Avon in late August. Rucker reports to Kraft Foods Group CEO Tony Vernon.

At Mondelez, Ernest Duplessis, the former head of Kraft's corporate communications office, has become SVP of corporate and government affairs of the global snacks business. It is understood that he reports to Mary Beth West, EVP and CMO of Mondelez. West reports to Mondelez CEO Irene Rosenfeld, who was Kraft chairman and CEO prior to the split.

Bonin Bough, VP of global media and consumer engagement at Mondelez, reports to Dana Anderson, SVP for marketing strategy and communications. Bough joined Kraft in February after serving as global director of digital and social media at PepsiCo for more than three years.

PRWeek has also learned that Brian Folkerts is leading Mondelez's Washington office; Chris McGrath is heading its sustainability and health and wellness unit; and Nicole Robinson is managing community involvement and the company foundation for Mondelez.

Abby Blunt is leading Kraft's Washington office, while Vicky Stencel is managing health and wellness, and Jim Norman is heading community involvement and the foundation for Kraft.

Kraft representatives did not respond to inquiry for comment.

Correction: An earlier version of this story inaccurately stated the reporting structure at Mondelez. Bonin Bough is reporting to Dana Anderson at the company.
