Weine joins New York Public Library as marcomms VP

NEW YORK: The New York Public Library has selected Kenneth Weine to serve as VP of communications and marketing, effective Monday.

NEW YORK: The New York Public Library has selected Kenneth Weine to serve as VP of communications and marketing, effective Monday.

Weine, who previously served as VP of communications and branding at Consumer Reports since 2006, is reporting to David Offensend, COO of the library.

Some of Weine's responsibilities include developing and executing communications strategies for the New York Public Library. He is also serving as a member of the senior management team.

Before working at Consumer Reports, Weine was the communications director for Newsweek. He also served as a staff attorney and communications director at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School.
