LONDON: Ford Retail has selected The Red Consultancy to develop a centralized communications function following a six-way pitch.

The retained six-figure account was moved from Genesis after seven years.

Andrea Donovan, director of the agency's consumer arm, will lead the account, reporting directly to Celia Pronto, Ford Retail's marketing and e-commerce director.

Ford Retail, which operates 65 UK dealerships, is embarking on a major growth drive.

Red's consumer and corporate team will raise Ford Retail's profile across consumer, corporate, and regional media, while Red Design will revamp Ford's internal magazine.
