Traackr, Nimble team up for influencer marketing

SAN FRANCISCO: Influencer search engine Traackr has partnered with contact-management service Nimble to create an integrated platform for influencer marketing.

SAN FRANCISCO: Influencer search engine Traackr has partnered with contact-management service Nimble to create an integrated platform for influencer marketing.

Users of Traackr, which searches the Web to find online influencers, will be able to connect that data with Nimble's contact-management system. Nimble builds profiles of online contacts including their social media streams, a log of interactions with users, and options to message them or schedule follow-up activities. The combined platform will be cloud-based.

Nimble will also release an updated version of its software next week and a mobile app within the next few weeks, said Jon Ferrara, CEO of the company.

Traackr and Nimble will continue to operate as separate companies and offer distinct services, Ferrara said. However, their partnership will give users a more streamlined tool for influencer marketing, he explained.

Ferrara cited the example of Chris Herbert, the CMO of b-to-b marketing firm Mi6 Agency, who began using Nimble and Traackr on behalf of client SAP before the two platforms were integrated.

“Once [Herbert] identified influencers on Traackr, he used Nimble to establish relationships with them, build profiles, and track what they said about the brand,” Ferrara explained. “For PR pros, closed-loop reporting on the results of engagement is critical.”

Traackr company subscriptions start at $1,795 per month, while Nimble charges a monthly fee of $15 per user.

Nimble also integrates its services with applications such as HootSuite, HubSpot, and Evernote, Ferrara added.
