Brunswick hires Yan in China, opens Singapore office

NEW YORK: Brunswick Group has hired Mei Yan as a senior partner in China.

NEW YORK: Brunswick Group has hired Mei Yan as a senior partner in China.

Yan was most recently MD and chief representative for Viacom International Media Networks Greater China. She has also held senior management positions in China with News Corp. and Turner International Asia. She was previously a journalist at ITN and CNN.

Brunswick will open a Singapore office in August, its fourth office in Asia and 22nd globally. Agency partner Kate Holgate, who has worked at the firm for nearly 13 years, will move from London to Singapore to lead the branch and recruit a local team. Director Will Carnwath and associate Arif Shah will also relocate to Singapore.

Also in Asia, Brunswick promoted Susan Ho to head of the Hong Kong office and St. John Moore to partner in Beijing.
