LONDON: McDonald's has hired Jo Kwiatkowska in a senior role on its European corporate relations team.
She joined the fast-food giant from Fishburn Hedges, where she was an associate director specializing in corporate media relations, working with clients such as Nestlé, Barclays, and Eurostar.
In the newly created role of senior manager of corporate comms, Kwiatkowska will be involved in a broad range of internal and external work. She joined the eight-strong European communications team, which works closely with agencies and local in-house teams in 39 European markets, this week.
Based at McDonald's London office, Kwiatkowska will report to European communications director Sam Fulton. He said that “[Kwiatkowska] will play a key role in managing the European press office, and her broad agency experience working for a range of clients will be very valuable as we develop our strategic frameworks and support teams across Europe.”
Separately, Craig Owen, a former parliamentary and constituency assistant to Labour Party Member of Parliament Steve McCabe, has joined McDonald's UK public affairs team as a coordinator.
