LONDON: Shine MD Richard Brett is set to take the role of group MD for Ogilvy Public Relations Australia.
Brett, who will depart in September, will oversee consumer work at Ogilvy offshoot Pulse Communications.
He will fill one of four group MD roles created as part of a restructuring at Ogilvy's Australian unit.
“It was a lifestyle choice. I wanted to live abroad, and this is an opportunity to make that happen,” Brett said. “I am looking forward to broadening my global experience and working at a major global network.”
Brett has worked at Shine for four years and was previously global VP for marketing communications at Samsonite.
