SINGAPORE: Remy Cointreau International has selected Grayling Singapore to handle its public relations in the country.

The agency won the business in May following a pitch process in March.

Under the one-year contract, Grayling will support several brands from Remy Cointreau's portfolio, including cognac brands Remy Martin and Louis XIII, Mount Gay Rum, Piper Heidsieck, and Charles Heidsieck champagnes.

“The biggest challenge of working on the account is Remy Cointreau, which has an immense portfolio of high-quality brands, while each of them has its own distinct identity, heritage, and unique qualities,” Stephanie Batot, executive director of Grayling Singapore, told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “From Barbados' Mount Gay Rum to the finest Heidsieck champagne, each brand is its own entity.”

In the following months, Remy Cointreau will host a series of premium events to enhance the awareness of the group's portfolio of brands in the country, including the upcoming launch of the newly acquired Bruichladdich whisky and a “Heart of Cognac” event, according to the agency.
