Aman Gupta, the founder and former CEO of Indian communications firm Imprimis PR, has announced the launch of Strategic Partners Group.
The firm will have offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, London, Washington DC, and Toronto.
The agency will provide PR services, brand marketing, cause marketing, digital marketing, and CSR consulting. The network is a mix of owned offices and partner offices.
Strategic Partners launched its India operations earlier this year and has picked up clients in the pharmaceutical industry, social sector, b-to-b, financial consulting, and telecommunications, the company said. It has also executed work in Singapore and Malaysia for clients.
“What is more interesting is the profile of clients that we are in advance stages of discussions with, whose work should start in the next two months,” said Gupta, managing partner at Strategic Partners. He added that some of the work it is doing includes “stakeholder mapping and identification of influencers” in the pharmaceutical field.
The agency recently launched a strategic media outreach campaign at a health conference in Kuala Lumpur. Gupta and his team are also working with a multinational healthcare company to build awareness for a specific therapy area using traditional and social media.
The agency has a team of 10 senior staffers spread across the network with plans to double the headcount in the next 12 months.
Gupta stepped down as CEO of Imprimis in February. His experience includes planning communications for Merck, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Novartis, and the World Bank.
