I began my career at the Texas Department of Commerce promoting the state as a top travel destination and working with press in Canada, Mexico, Germany, England, and Japan.

I do a search on Twitter for any news related to Univision and our assets and also on our site Univision.com for what's happening around the world.
My nephew gave me a frame he decorated with a photo of him and his brother inside – to remind me of what's important.
Your most regrettable career moment
Like many in our field, I've had many learning moments. It is not about the learning moment, but about how you react, learn, and adapt when things do not work out as planned.
What was your proudest career achievement?
The work we've done in Univision positioning the company and the team we have built. I'm very fortunate to work with an incredible team.
Ideal day off
Going to Central Park, working out, and shopping.
It would probably involve working with animals.
What is your guilty TV pleasure?
Telenovelas. My current favorite is Amores Verdaderos, but I am really excited about La Tempestad with William Levy, which started in July.
