Burson-Marsteller found in its Twitplomacy study that more than three-quarters (77%) of world leaders have a presence on Twitter. Nearly half of the accounts analyzed are personal accounts of heads of state or government or foreign affairs secretaries or ministers. Burson also measured how connected leaders are to each other.
