NEW YORK: Ketchum has acquired South Korean agency InComm Brodeur.
The firm, which will be rebranded as Ketchum effective immediately, works with clients in industries including IT, consumer technology, healthcare, financial services, public affairs, and consumer.
The South Korean firm is led by SVP Sally Cho and VP Jeff Joo. Each will report to Jon Higgins, senior partner and CEO for international at Ketchum, the firm said in a statement. The team will collaborate with Ketchum's Asia-Pacific network.
InComm Brodeur will provide Ketchum clients with local market insight and expertise as companies are planning their presence at the 2018 Winter Olympics to be held in PyeongChang, South Korea, the firm said in a statement.
“This addition enhances our global offering and bolsters our communications presence in Asia, giving our clients added resources to seize opportunities and tackle their business challenges,” Ketchum senior partner and CEO Rob Flaherty said, in a statement.
