Former KY congressman opens gov't relations shop

FORT MITCHELL, KY: Former Rep. Ben Chandler (D-KY) and three partners have launched Omni Advocacy Group, a government relations firm.

FORT MITCHELL, KY: Former Rep. Ben Chandler (D-KY) and three partners have launched Omni Advocacy Group, a government relations firm.

The firm will be based in Northern Kentucky. Chandler's tenure in Congress began in 2004 and ended this year. During his time on Capitol Hill, he served on the House Appropriations Committee, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Transportation, Homeland Security, Science and Technology, Agriculture, and Ethics committees.

Omni Advocacy Group provides lobbying, advocacy, and other consulting services to clients engaged with local, state, federal, and international governments.

Chandler's partners are Patrick Crowley, who co-founded Strategic Advisers in September 2009; former Covington (KY) City Manager Jay Fossett; and former Strategic Advisers partner Greg Greene.
