Environics Communications launches green practice, hires SVP

WASHINGTON: Environics Communications launched a new sustainability and clean energy practice, and hired Frank Walter as SVP to lead it. Walter most recently ran a PR consultancy called Impala Communications. He now reports to Dave Groobert, GM of Environics' US operations. The practice, which now includes existing clients CSA International and Sustainable Development Technology Canada, also announced two new clients: the Electric Drive Transportation Association and the Earth Hour project for the World Wildlife Fund. The practice is based in Washington.
