Brunswick adds to Washington team

WASHINGTON: The Brunswick Group recently made two additions to its Washington office. David Sutphin has joined as partner focusing on public affairs. In this role, he will lead the firm's work in Washington on public-private partnerships. Sutphin is a former SVP of government relations at Viacom and senior Congressional staff member. In addition, Brunswick appointed Lane Hudson director of integrated media in Washington. Hudson previously led his own strategic communications firms, serving corporate and nonprofit clients. He also has a policy background, having worked for former US Senator Fritz Hollings (D-SC) and as an adviser to former South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges.
