WASHINGTON: Anita Dunn, an adviser to President Barack Obama during his campaign, has stepped in as interim communications director at the White House, according to news reports.

Ellen Moran, former White House communications director, is recently left to become chief of staff for Commerce Secretary Gary Locke.
