AUSTIN, TX: Cohn & Wolfe has named Thomas Graham president of the agency's Austin office and a member of its global board. In the role, Thomas will manage day-to-day operations, client service, and business development. He reports directly to CEO Donna Imperato.

Thomas comes to C&W from the financial institution BBVA Group, where he served on the management committee and directed U.S. communications. Prior to that, he was GM with Weber Shandwick, managing client service, business development, and agency operations in Texas. Thomas also spent four years at Edelman as EVP and deputy GM for the Southwest region.

Graham's appointment frees Paul Walker, who had been handling the role in addition to his responsibilites as the firm's global digital practice leader, to remain focused on digital, the agency said.
