NEW YORK: Edelman has won additional pieces of Motorola's business after the company consolidated its broadband mobility solutions division.

The new work will add to the existing enterprise projects that Edelman currently handles. Tama McWhinney, director of corporate communications at Motorola, said that the projects being transitioned to Edelman were previously handled by Fleishman-Hillard.

Fleishman, though, continues to be Motorola's AOR for corporate and mobile services and the business remains one of Fleishman's “larger accounts,” according to an agency source.

A source at Edelman also confirmed the new projects.

Edelman had already handled Motorola's enterprise mobility business, which primarily included the company's barcode scanners, in addition to some wireless routers. Its brief now includes home networks, government and public safety, as well as enterprise mobility.
