"Now we've got this new way to raise money for the Foundation through Twitterand Facebook," Bob Woodruff said. "I think this will have a big impact as more people get to know about it." The campaign, which received PR and marketing support from Porter Novelli and JWT, hopes that #TweetToRemindwill be the top hashtag on Twitter over the holiday weekend and drive traffic and donations on Remind.org.
To discuss the social media side of the campaign, Gregory Galant, creator of the Shorty Awards and The Shorty Report, and Stephanie Agresta, the Internet Geek Girl, were also in attendance. The duo answered questions about the best way to use social media to spread messages.
