AOL, which just spun off from Time Warner, may go through a number of changes as management seeks to reinvigorate the company, but a rebranding will not be one of them.

Tim Armstrong, AOL CEO, told Bloomberg News that he’s keeping all options open for reviving the company, but added, "We will be standing very strongly behind the AOL brand name."

Nine years after the two companies merged in a massive old media-new media partnership, Time Warner announced last week it would spin off AOL. It did so keeping both AOL’s Internet access and online advertising units in tact.
