As reported on The Cycle and in the PRWeek news stories, Cision has been undergoing a number of changes to streamline its business operations. Most recently, according to Cision, a position has moved from Boston to the US headquarters in Chicago.

Change is also happening in Canada, where the company's Ottawa office is moving the first week of August. The company said the move is three months in the making, and will be 2 miles from where the current Ottawa office is located.

Cision asserts the move is unrelated to the ongoing labor strike involving 25 employees, but would not speak further on the situation except via an e-mailed statement:
Ottawa unionized employees chose to strike on May 5. Since the employees went on strike, the union has not been in contact with our company. We are unable to comment on the outstanding bargaining issues. Cision views all our employees with the utmost professional regard, and hopes that the strike will be resolved soon. We continue to support all our clients completely with all our services as usual.
