HOUSTON: BMC Software expanded the role of Waggener Edstrom, previously its AOR for the Americas and EMEA, by adding the Asia-Pacific region to its responsibilities. The agency becomes BMC's global AOR. The value of the annual account increased by an amount in the mid-six-figure range, said Mark Stouse, global communications leader at BMC. Elements of Ogilvy's network previously worked with BMC in the Asia-Pacific region, the agency confirmed. BMC continues to work with Howorth, an Ogilvy affiliate in Australia, under the auspices of the WE network, Stouse added.
