NEW YORK: 'The Wall Street Journal' appointed Deborah Brewster deputy managing editor, effective early July.

NEW YORK: The Wall Street Journal appointed Deborah Brewster deputy managing editor, effective early July. She will manage the newspaper's graphics department and oversee hiring and training programs, according to Robert Christie, VP of communications for Dow Jones. She previously served in various roles at the Financial Times and as communications correspondent for The Australian.
