NEW YORK: The Associated Press (AP) will distribute the content of four nonprofit investigative journalism organizations in a pilot program, beginning July 1. The AP will deliver reports from the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Center for Public Integrity, the Investigative Reporting Workshop, and ProPublica to member newspapers for a six-month period. The AP will not charge either the newspapers or the nonprofit groups for the content.
