KANSAS CITY, MO: H&R Block is reviewing firms for PR and media relations support within the Hispanic market, according to several industry sources that declined to be named. The tax preparation company recently moved its marketing account from Campbell-Mithun to DDB, according to reports in AdAge and Brandweek.

H&R Block is looking for several PR firms across the country to "match up with Hispanic priority markets," one source said, such as Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. The goal for the agencies will be "getting feel-good human interest stories" in Hispanic media, the source added.

The company is expected to make its decision within the next two weeks, as H&R Block is on a July to June fiscal year. H&R Block has not returned calls or e-mails from PRWeek seeking comment. Fleishman-Hillard, which has worked with the company in the past, also did not return calls.
