Last night I went to a comedy show at the New York Comedy Club. While most comedy shows don't really relate to PR, Peppercom is working to change that perception. The agency instituted a training program where staffers are taught the basics of stand-up comedy, in order to help them with presentation skills and thinking on their feet. Several Peppercom staffers performed stand-up routine at the club last night, including managing partner and co-founder Steve Cody.

Everyone in the agency has taken the training, and in addition to Cody, Peppercom's strategy consultant Darryl Salerno performed, and Doug Feingold and Brendan Mullin both made their professional stand-up debuts last night. Great job everyone!
