National Association of Government Communicators elects new board members

FALLS CHURCH, VA: The National Association of Government Communicators announced the results of four board elections on July 17.

FALLS CHURCH, VA: The National Association of Government Communicators announced the results of four board elections on July 17.

Maria Carolina Rozas, an assistant director in the communications division for the US Department of Justice, was named treasurer; John Verrico, a senior public affairs officer for the US Department of Homeland Security, was named communications director; Karen Leniart, a principal speechwriter for the US Department of Homeland Security, was elected marketing director; and Laura Kirkpatrick, a public information officer for the County of Monmouth, NJ, was named the membership and volunteer director.
